Check back to our website periodically to see our new vehicles arrivals. If you can't find the vehicle you are looking for maybe we can order it for you, even if it is a used cars for sale. We have access to many auction houses and provide you with a copy of the vehicle history report at no charge. Once the used vehicle arrives our service department will inspect the vehicle for saftey and funtionality and made ready for your first test drive. Used vehicle order will require a nonrufundable $500 deposit. It's never scary when you buy from Harry. New vehicles can either be order directly from the factory with a $500 nonrefundable deposit, allow 6-8 weeks turnaround time or transfered in from another dealer with a $500 nonrefundable deposit, allow 7-10 days turnaround time. If you bring your vehicle in for collison repair but don't want to deal with the collison being on the vehicle history report for the life of your vehicle we can find you a vehicle that has a clean title and clean vehicle history report and trade you out of the vehicle before the work is finished with your wrecked car and get you back on the road as quickly as possible. Mr. Robinson’s background in the automotive industry is similar to other established franchise dealers who have been in business as long as he has. He knew what he wanted at a young age; he set short term goals, and he strived to achieve his goals. It isn’t always easy being a business owner or being in the automotive industry, but you would never know it if you visited with Mr. Robinson at the dealership. His stories describing his experiences and opportunities in the industry since 1970 reveal a passion anyone can see. Mr. Robinson often says, “You don’t get into the car business – the car business gets into you.” He believes the collective strength of the dealership’s customer satisfaction is derived from the individual effort and dedication of every employee. The full use of an employee’s knowledge, experience, ability, and energy is important to the success of the dealership. A commitment to customer satisfaction has permitted the dealership to be recognized as a professional leader in automotive sales and service. Mr. Robinson started selling cars in January 1970 at Sellers Oldsmobile-Cadillac in Meridian, Mississippi. He worked for several other dealerships in Management positions while trying to achieve the goals he set for himself. In October 1978 Mr. Robinson moved his family to Hammond, Louisiana where he worked for Dick Durham at Durham Pontiac, Cadillac, GMC, and Toyota. Mr. Durham knew Mr. Robinson’s goal was to own a dealership. In 1984 he helped him find a great opportunity in a great city. When Mr. Robinson tells people about his experience in the automotive industry he always includes how fortunate he was to work for someone like Mr. Durham, and how Mr. Durham treated him better than most families treat one another. About Harry Robinson Sallisaw Ford Harry Robinson Jr. acquired Sallisaw Ford in Sallisaw, OK 74955 in December of 2018. The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony was held on February 25, 2019 to welcome Sallisaw Ford to the Harry Robinson Automotive Family. Many Harry Robinson Buick GMC employees pitched in to help get it up and running under the Harry Robinson leadership. Many of the original Sallisaw Ford employees stayed on board during the transition are still part of the Harry Robinson Automotive Family today. About Harry Robinson Automotive Family Today Mr. Robinson operates Harry Robinson Buick GMC in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Harry Robinson Pontiac was established in 1984. During 1986 Mr. Robinson acquired the Buick franchise. Upon acquiring the Buick franchise, General Motors requested he build a new facility. Mr. Robinson broke ground at 6000 South 36th Street on June 3, 1987, and moved in on October 15, 1987. In 2009 General Motors announced their plan to dissolve the Pontiac franchise along with several other popular makes and Mr. Robinson added the GMC franchise establishing Harry Robinson Buick GMC. The dealership currently offers new Buicks and GMC as well as all makes and models of used cars for sale. Mr. Robinson has one of the largest pre-owned inventories around the River Valley offering both domestic and import vehicles with a variety of used cars for sale, trucks, vans, and sport utility vehicles for customers to choose from. Also located at South 36th Street are the Dealership’s Service Department, Parts Department, and Body Shop. The Service Department and Body Shop work on all types of vehicles and gladly handle GM warranty, all extended warranties/service agreements, and insurance claims for our customer’s. Our employees (known internally as team members) take pride in the jobs they do. In the last five years, we have grown from 60 full-time employees to over 80 full-time employees.
